U.S. policy in Iraq is adrift upon the open sea

It's becoming painfully obvious to everyone that there is no coherent plan for what to do now that Saddam Hussein is gone.

It's only now that the U.S. is trying to control looters. When Christian business owners and distillery operators have gone to U.S. troops for help, they've basically been told "Sorry, we can't help you. It's not our job." Religious minorities now have fewer rights and fewer protections than they did under Saddam

As bad as a dictator is, at least he's better than anarchy.
