d'oh!

I just realized yesterday that when I applied for a certain position at the university, I attached a cover letter for a different position I was applying for elsewhere at the university.

 Somehow, I don't think I'm going to get the interview.

Well...that's not quite as bad as what happened to me with a job application.

I had gotten 30 days notice at my job...so I applied for another job at the company that I didn't really want. I only applied for it because my hubby told me to--and trust me, I argued with him because I felt that I while I was qualified for the job, I would hate it. But then *trying* to be submissive, I did apply...and was granted an interview.

I forwarded the e-mail meeting notice for the interview to him with the note "well, I got asked to do an interview for the job I didn't really want...." When he replied back, it went to the hiring manager instead of me! OOOPS!

Needless to say, she canceled the interview.
